Captain Jeremy Hopkins, Captain Bill England and Captain Michael Mosser are highly experienced full-time captains and instructors. Capt. Jeremy holds a USCG 100-ton Near Coastal license, and Capt. Bill & Capt. Mike hold USCG 50-ton Near Coastal licenses. Capt. Jeremy & Capt. Bill are American Sailing Association certified Coastal Cruising Instructors. We all adhere to the highest possible standards for instruction and take great professional pride in ensuring an on-time, on-budget delivery.

Whether your interest is a local, Intra-Coastal Waterway, East Coast, Bahamas, Caribbean or a Gulf of Mexico delivery, assistance with returning your boat to your home marina following an extended cruise, or with moving your boat to a new location, an owner-assisted delivery, new vessel purchase familiarization, topic-specific instruction, a general refresher instruction course, or private instruction in coastal or celestial navigation, we can help. Our extensive delivery experience includes monohull sailboats, sailing and power catamarans, tugs, trawlers and motor-yachts.

We work near and far! We are very familiar with the waters of the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays, the New Jersey coast, Raritan Bay and the East & Hudson Rivers, Long Island and Block Island Sounds, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts & the Gulf of Maine, Lake Ontario and the Oswego & Erie Canal systems, the entire Intra-Coastal Waterway from Norfolk to Miami, the Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia & Florida coasts and the Gulf of Mexico.

We also have many thousands of miles of open ocean sailing experience including deliveries to and from Bermuda, the Bahamas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, the British & US Virgin Islands, St Martin, Antigua, St Lucia & Grenada in the Caribbean Basin, the Yucatan Peninsula & the Pacific coast of Mexico, the South Atlantic islands of St. Helena and Ascension, Brazil, Suriname, and trans-Atlantic delivery passages from Mallorca, in the western Mediterranean and from Cape Town, South Africa, to Annapolis, MD. June 2010
Last season, 2009, was yet another busy year for us. We completed a total of 22 sail- and motor-yacht deliveries: 14 on the U.S. East Coast between Maine and Florida, one from the Gulf Coast of Florida to Baltimore, MD, one from the Gulf Coast of Florida to the Abacos, one from the Abacos to Norfolk, VA, one from Bermuda to Fajardo, Puerto Rico, one from Fajardo to Marion, MA, and our other Caribbean deliveries from Antigua to Miami, Annapolis to Tortola and Annapolis to St Martin.  Those deliveries totalled 15,505 nautical miles, of which six deliveries each exceeded 1,000 nm. It was wonderful to have been so busy in the down economy and we greatly appreciate the confidence placed in us, as well as the support of so many private boat owners and yacht dealers &  brokers.

So far this season we have had the pleasure of working with two groups of instruction customers; Tom L. & Julie G. on their Lafitte 44 sloop in Annapolis and Len & Eileen M. on their Mainship 34 Sedan Pilothouse in Gibson Island. We have also completed seven deliveries, 5 sailboats and 2 motoryachts, for a total of 5,475 nautical miles. Details and photographs of these delivery passages are shown on the “deliveries” page.

This season we are looking forward to meeting and working with many new customers, as well as our existing customers who are now sailing better, more confidently, getting more enjoyment from their boating - and simply having more fun. And if it isn’t fun and enjoyable, then why do it!?
